Hawk Server Move 7 Feb

The Hawk server will be moved to the new, state of the art Equinix ME2 Data Centre as part of a planned migration by the data center System Administrators. 

The migration of the Hawk server will be occurring on 7 Feb 2021 with work commencing at 22:00 AEDT and is estimated to take up to 5 hours to complete.

The System Administrators will be performing a scheduled migration of infrastructure by physically relocating hardware to the new Data Centre. 

They anticipate that the server will be offline for up to 5 hours during the maintenance period, however, the team will be working to keep the downtime as short as possible and get the server up and running as soon as possible.

IP address used on the server will not be changing so no other changes will be required.

Once the server hardware is installed and booted up services should return to normal quickly.
